Caroline Rinker Receives Edison Report Annual Lifetime Achievement Award

On March 18, 2023, EdisonReport Lifetime Achievement Awards held at Parsons School of Design, honored Caroline Rinker for making significant contributions to the industry, forever leaving her mark. The awards are dedicated to honoring twelve exceptional individuals, recognized as giants in lighting, for their remarkable careers, achievements, and milestones.

James O’Blaney paid a beautiful tribute to Caroline, as he spoke on her behalf. “This is nowhere near enough time to get into who and what, but at least you’ll get a taste and understand why Caroline is receiving this award,” he began. “Born and raised in the Bronx, she found a position at Lighting Associates after college, working with Frank Conti, who quickly saw how talented she was. She learned an industry so well; she knew it in braille. Her toughness and tenderness were a unique blend.”

All Lumens with Dave Wallace

Dave Wallace, Operations Manager at ORA, interviews D.J. Ziobro from Dado Lighting to discuss the new Fineline 58. This recessed lighting features a depth of 2 sheets of drywall with internal wire harness and magnetic mounting of LED panels that prevent feed point shadows (common with tape light). It’s an easy install and replacement through front, and flexible lens available up to 100 ft long to eliminate butt joints. Flanges can be added as needed to mount mid-field or along and edge in drywall or grid ceilings. More
