Architectural Lighting Sales / Outside Sales Associate

O’Blaney Rinker Associates is expanding and we are looking for a self-motivated, creative, professional candidate to join our specification sales team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years lighting experience
  • Technical expertise in lighting and product knowledge
  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize competing demands.
  • Team player
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Develop new customer relationships and business opportunities
  • Assist customers in evaluating their lighting needs including applications and w/sq ft analysis.
  • Assist in managing projects from concept through completion
  • Educate specifiers, lighting designers, architects, and engineers about the product lines we represent
  • Deliver a high level of customer service

Project Manager/Order Entry

We are looking for a Project Manager to assist in our daily activities.
Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in the lighting industry and can work in a team environment. You must be a self-motivated and work with the sales, quotations, and management team. This position will offer exceptional growth opportunity to the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to effectively manage time and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Experience with Oasis is a plus.
  • Understanding of submission process, vendor and project management is a plus.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects with different clients and schedules simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Process incoming sales orders and releases for projects.
  • Accurately create and enter orders for customer projects and sales department on Oasis.
  • Coordinate submittal packages.
  • Provide delivery, pricing, return, technical support, and project updates.
  • Monitor and work with team on any field issues.
  • Generate Quotations and BOM to respond to project requirements.
  • Respond to client needs in a positive manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Handle any problems that occur with an order and provide an appropriate solution.
  • Ability to work well on your own as well as a team member.
  • Assist in all facets of the Project Management team:
    Submittals, Order Entry, Change Orders, Obtain Field Measurements, Shop Drawings, Release, Logistics Management, obtain POD’s.
  • Occasional site visit may be required.
